City trip to Delft - 23 October 2021

On Saturday 23 October 2021 we will make a one-day trip to Delft. Delft is one of the nicest historical cities in The Netherlands. There are many things to see and to do. Transport will be done by train. Ed will be your tour guide in Delft. The plan includes a tour in the "Nieuwe Kerk" (new church) which is connected to many historical events of the past, regarding the Dutch Royal family. A boat tour on the canals will be part of the plan as well. And a evening meal in one of the fine Asian restaurants is included. As of today a valid corona-pass needs to be presented for the restaurant *. Then, a couple of other attractions can be added, such as a visit to the Vermeer Center, or a short display in the Delft blue ceramic factory. The signup has been completed.
* For those who are not fully vaccinated, a corona-pass after a recent corona-test is required for entrance in the restaurant on Saturday evening 18:00. Those who need to undergo a corona-test, we recommend to make an appointment for a test after Friday 18:00, preferable between 18:00-19:00 in order not to miss the Friday fellowship, or on Saturday morning very early before departure to Delft.
