Hybrid Fellowship

Since the corona pandemic dies-out, students and team want to meet again in-person. Digital meetings had some advantages: no cooking needs, no room reservations, easy visuals sharing, easy song lyrics and song music sharing, less travel time, easy breakout room options, out-of-town participants possible, seekers and believers meet easily, etc. Disadvantages of digital meetings were: no physical interaction, such as no physical touch, no direct eye contact, less real friendship building, less comforting each other nor helping each other, etc. Below we sketch a scenario for hybrid fellowship.
We have per month on the first Friday evening an in-person fellowship. Location needs to allow two discussion groups. Once a month we need to bring projection and sound equipment for teaching and worship. Food will be ordered; CSMN has funds. The believers-subgroup meets in a student home on the third Friday evening, without equipment, only a laptop for Zoom contact with the non-Wageningen residents.
In summary, to be implemented in the months of April, May, and June 2022
Friday 1
We all meet physically/in-person from 18:00 in Salem Church (or in another room). We bring ordered food (CSMN has funds). The students bring their own bowl and utensils, and we eat all together. We do voluntary worship from 19:30 - 20:00. From 20:00 we split in two sub groups (seekers and believers) and do our study and discussion. At the end 22:00 we all help clean up.
Fridays 2 and 4
We meet digitally using Zoom from 19:30 for voluntary worship and from 20:00 for teaching and discussion. We have our breakout sessions as we did in the corona-time. No food.
Friday 3
The seekers-group meets as in Friday 2 and 4. Or runs an alternative evening in a home with or without food (CSMN has funds).
The believers-group decides to meet somewhere (student dorm) with or without food (CSMN has funds).
