One, the story behind this song
We've worshipped along with Nicole C. Mullen at church for years and have always wanted to collaborate on something creative with her but the timing wasn't right.
So, as we were writing for the Freedom in Christ Course, it happened. God set up a divine appointment right there in the church aisle and that's when we all knew this was the time. There is disunity wherever you look. There's no better time than now for the church to step up and lead as a unified body. This was the beat that was pulsing in each of our hearts as we wrote this song. If we don't act like the one body we are, then how will they ever see Jesus in us? - Wayne and Esther Tester
