  • 8:25 Bus station Wageningen, take bus 50 to Rhenen, arrival Rhenen 8:37
  • 9:08 Depart train (richting Breukelen) from Rhenen to Utrecht (arriving at platform 14)
  • 9:58 Depart train from Utrecht Centraal (platform 8) to Den Haag Centraal
  • 10:36 Meet at Den Haag Centraal station, at the checkout gates.
  • 10:45 Walk to City Hall. Watch indoor architecture.
  • 11:15 Walk to Buitenhof. Ed explains Dutch Parliamentary Monarchy: Parliament and Government system and buildings. 
  • 12:00 Visit Museum Mauritshuis, including Johannes Vermeer's "girl with the pearl earring". 
  • 13:15 Lunch in Brasserie Mauritshuis.
  • 14:00 Walk to Royal Palace at Noordeinde; residence of royal family and office of King Willem Alexander.
  • 14:30 Walk to and visit of Panorama Mesdag (Zeestraat 65), museum dedicated to the largest circular canvas in Europe. 
  • 16:00 Walk to Vredespaleis/Peace Palace, which houses the Permanent Court of Arbitration, the United Nations International Court of Justice and The Hague Academy of International Law. These institutions are supported by the Library of the Peace Palace, one of the most prestigious libraries in its field. The Carnegie Foundation is the owner and manager of the Peace Palace.  
  • 17:00 Take HTM tram 1 to Kurhaus/beach DenHaag/Scheveningen. Make a beach walk.
  • 18:29 Take HTM tram 1 from Kurhaus to tram stop Centrum. Then walk 8 minutes to Full Moon City, Achter Raamstraat 75. Reservation for 14 people at 19:00. We, CSMN staff, order food and tea (no alcohol). Those who want to make a special drink order, need to pay themselves separately.
  • Approx. 20:30 Walk to Den Haag central station. Travel back home.
