This movement denigrates evangelical Christian denominations and organizations. Only people of the Local Church movement can be saved. The exclusivism of the Local Church divides the true Body of Christ and is therefore contrary to the Bible. They follow the doctrine of late Chinese preacher Witness Lee and they use their own Bible, called the Recovery Version of the Bible, which is loaded with footnotes to impose their doctrine on readers.
