Shui zhu niu rou - beef

serves 4

  • 200 g beef (less fat, tender and skinny), cut in very thin slices.
  • ¼ Chinese cabbage, cut in 1 cm slices
  • 150 g bean sprouts
  • Garlic
  • Ginger (small size, which can be cut in about 10 pieces
  • Toban Djan, chili bean paste, 2 big spoons
  • Oil
  • Hot pepper package
  • Corn or potato starch
  • Soy sauce
  • Sichuan pepper (hua jiao)
  • White pepper

After cutting the beef in thin slices put the corn or potato starch in several spoons and mix. Add a little bit of soy sauce.
Cook the bean sprouts and Chinese cabbage in boiling water for a short time. Get them out of the water and put them in the bottom of dish.

Fry the ginger in oil (3-4 times oil as normal dishes) , add Sichuan pepper (hua jiao), add the two spoons of toban djan sauce and stir till it smells.

Then add water and let it cook. When the water cooks add the beef, is quickly ready!

Pour the meat and soup on the vegetables, pour the garlic and package of chilies. Warm oil and when the oil is heated pour over the garlic and pepper. It will sizzle.

Add some white pepper
Eat immediately.
