Recently we have explored and implemented Fill In notes into our CSMN app. Fill in notes can only be used in the mobile app, not in the standard website.
Fill In notes are attached to media. The media can be just an image or a video. The attachment to that media can be standard notes or fill in notes. The advantage of fill in notes is that blank spaces can be added to texts, so that the user is able to use the teaching material as a portable Q&A device. The fill in notes appear in the browser. After using the fill in note you can email the note to any email address.
The media file + fill in notes remain in the INBOX of each user as long as the app manager keeps them visible. If you want to keep them personally you need to send them to your email address.
We have several examples of media files containing fill in notes, which are sent as notifications to each member of a group. Currently we have two working groups, named General and Wageningen. Users can become members of those notification groups through their app settings and notifications.
